It's a little long for me (I'm 5' 2" and 118 lbs; bought an xs) and definitely roomy enough to put extra layers underneath, which is helpful. My one issue is that one of the strings for the hood pulled out of the mechanism designed to hold it and now my coat looks a little shoddy. If I had paid $150, I wouldn't mind but it was almost $700. I Iooked into sending it back to the company for repairs but I've had to do that with another coat and for this issue dealing with the warranty department is way more effort than it's worth. Overall, it's an attractive coat.

She recently did some walking around in high 20’s or low 30’s weather and was comfortable. Now, let’s talk about the disappointing packaging for an $850 coat. Somewhere in this margin you should be able to find some eco friendly or reusable packaging. The coat just came in a brown box with no inner liner to protect it from anything else. As a supply chain professional I’m really curious what returns and damages look like riding along with everything else ups ships. Overall, great coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Caligirl from Practically perfect in every way I’m writing this review because reading all the others helped me decide to buy this coat which I think is practically perfect in every way. I’m petite at 5’ and even the fit of the sleeves is perfect. I bought XS even though I was concerned it would be tight on the hips and bust but in the end, it’s great, even with a sweater or bulky jeans on my waist. But I usually just wear leggings and a long sleeve T-shirt underneath. I love the length. It’s a snug, slim fit but since the sleeves are a different material, the cut is such that the coat doesn’t slide up when you raise your arms or move them in circles. Such a great idea to basically have detached sleeves so you can easily move and not feel like a stuffed bear. I did all the usual fit tests and this coat passed with flying colors. I wore the coat hiking the coastal trail in Cornwall, England in temps 45-57 degrees Fahrenheit, with high winds. Coat was wind proof and water resistant except the sleeves in heavy windy rain do get soaked through. I take 4 walks a day with my dog in London so I had to be able to move and bend down and change pace and I can do all these things without being cold or getting overheated. So this coat is good for hiking or walking long distances and daily wear. The backpack straps inside are super cool and I can’t wait to use them inside a shop when I want to take the coat off. Brilliant idea those straps!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Practical comfort from Awesome coat. Perfect for warmer temperatures but still keeps you incredibly warm. I live in Sask and my Kensington is too warm for -10 to -15C. Picture does not do this coat justice. It is very flattering and not your typical Canada Goose style. I am beyond happy with this purchase. For reference I am 5’3” 120lbs and went with the XS. I like a snug fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Flattering jacket from Flattering fit Tried this jacket in size L. It was fitted and had a flattering fit. Can’t layer unless I go for XL (not I stock with the colour I wanted it in) to have more of a comfortable fit. For reference I’m 5”3, 185lbs. Heavier up top and mid section. This jacket is lined with fleece material inside. Hope that CG keeps this feature on the jacket and not change its future style. The fleece is what will keep you warm as the body is not down filled, only the sleeves and hood. But, still feels warm and not bulky unlike the heavier parka style. Wish the tab at the waist is one of those pull cinched like the one that is used on the hood so that it stays cinched. the one on the jacket comes loose easily and losses the shape. I would order this again if CG makes an improvement with the waist strap. It would also be nice if it comes with a zippered fooler vest. as I really do love this jacket. Great for spring, fall and winter weather. Maybe price should be a lot less as the whole jacket is not down filled, only sleeves, neck/hood area are.
