I prefer to wear a knit hat rather than a hood that restricts driving and side viewing. This jacket is warm...just wore it during a week of -45-50 with windchill. Never felt the cold from the hips up. It’s a sleek profile and durable with soft knit cuffs and collar. Heavy duty zipper and warn pockets. Slim fit but xl is fine for my 6ft 4 240 lb frame with some but not much room for layering. I like xxl in CG but this xl didn’t disappoint My only complaint would be the inside zipper pocket could be 1/2 in bigger to allow for the current 7inch phones!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Aaronucsd from Love the jacket so far I got the navy blue color. I wanted the green color but it is always sold out. I like the urbanness of the design. I did try the Chateu but it comes feeling bulky not something I want to wear to work or around town (SF) with Chateau. But with Forester it felt very stylist. I got the same warmth as the parkas. If I need yo keep my head warm I just pop on my beanie. Only con I found is that the outside chest pockets uses velcro and most of the times they do not align back correctly and also seems over time could be defected (comes loose on stitching). I hope it will be covered if it does and not count as wear and tear. I'm 5'9"'and 160lbs. Medium fits perfect with or without light sweater.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Joren from Balance of Form and Function I bought this after accidentally owning/wearing/suffering with a fall coat for 4 Canadian winters (misguided by another store), and I've never been more warm waiting for public transportation! There was a ridiculously cold and strong wind but whenever I felt a gust, my torso felt absolutely none of the cold. A critique to the Canada Goose design team would be that the hand pockets are positioned a little weird as I always tend to hit the seam of the pocket whenever I'm trying to put my hand in. However, this jacket is by far the best out of the company's new lineup!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chinada 123 from Good looking and fit It looks amazing and it's very warm. It's just the sleeve are not as slim as shown in the picture. I'm 5'10" 178lb and I have a Medium. The sleeves are a bit long but it doesn't bother me because I can still pull my hands out all the time and it is always better than those sleeves shorter than my arms. One other thing is about the zipper. The zipper for my jacket is hard to be aligned sometimes. But again it doesn't bother my love to it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by No More Cold Days from Form & Function Choose this jacket over the others because it less "parka" more utility look. The Pockets in front are not as large as they seem, but are lined. High Collar is nice and feels snug and warm, the fleece liner is a great touch. The sleeve cuffs are wide and lots of elasticity, seems like it should wear nicely. The length is good not overly long and not too short. (i'm 5'7" 170lbs) They do fit true to size and Medium was fine with a sweater underneath. The shell seems durable, and the zipper is definitely heavy duty. Like other reviewers the zipper is finicky, will need to get used to.It hasn't been cold enough to wear yet but look forward to seeing how this performs. I would like deeper pockets and a thicker pile fleece in the pockets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrErico from Cheapest Canada Goose Parka I’ve owned quite a few Canada Goose jackets in my time and quite familiar with their sizing. I’m 42 chest, 32 waist and around 5ft 4 and medium fits me perfectly. I also own the Wyndham Jacket which is slim fit and ordered that in medium too so you can see the size comparison between the two. I didn’t actually order it from CG, but from another retailer but thought it worthy of a positive review as it’s the actual jacket. It’s really comfortable, and just the right size for me, sometimes parka jackets can be too long in the arm or go below the waist but this hip length jacket is just right, especially if you’re not particular tall like me. It’s actually the cheapest parka jacket they sell, but I’d say it’s probably the best one! It can be an everyday jacket (in autumn/winter) if you want it to be, as it’s relatively subtle and not too in your face. Goes well with any style, jeans or even as a jacket over formal wear like shirt and tie. There’s still plenty of room for a sweater or hoody underneath, so will definitely keep you warm in the winter months. When autumn hits I’ll definitely be wearing this jacket on a regular basis. I’m have quite a big build (albeit only 5ft 4) so the fit around the arms are quite fitted, which isn’t a bad thing! Got a couple of CG beanie hats to pair it with in the winter. Only thing that would have been good is if there was the option to buy this jacket with the black patch like the Wyndham jacket, giving people the choice to be more discreet if they wanted.
