Why We Choose Fur

No matter where they’re worn, many of our products are designed and built to protect against the elements in the coldest places on Earth – places where exposed skin can freeze in an instant. In these environments, we believe that fur is the best choice – having fur trim around a jacket hood disrupts airflow which helps protect the face from frostbite.

Why We Choose Down

We use down because it’s recognized as one of the world’s best natural insulators. Each ounce of down has approximately two million fluffy filaments that interlock and overlap to create insulating pockets of air, which is what keeps you warm.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wish it would fit my model of coat I received this extension panel as a gift. I was so excited since I have reached the point in my pregnancy where my coat is snug. I was really disappointed to find out that it doesn't match the Kensington model, which is the coat that I wear. The zipper sizes are not the same. I was under the impression that the Kensington is one of the most popular coats. This extension panel would have been the perfect solution to my growing belly, and growing baby next winter. I'm disappointed to have to return the gift and look for a new solution, especially since it has been so cold. I'd only recommend this product if I knew someone has the model to match.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't Fit Kensington Coat I bought this jacket extender a few days ago. I was told by the in store staff that it would fit my model of jacket - the Kensington... it doesn't. The zipper sizes don't match. There is a previous post about this from 2 years ago but I guess Canada Goose decided to do nothing. Why there isn't a zipper adaptor for these alternate zippers... I don't know. Obviously these jackets are not inexpensive and buying another one is not a feasible option. I love my jacket and am really happy with that purchase but it would be nice for Canada Goose to think about their previous customers who purchased jackets a few (one) season(s) ago.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it is meant to do I bought this a few days ago after it being sold out for ages. I was lucky and got the last size F available. Like I said it does the trick, I am 5 months pregnant and this will work all the way through to my 9th month. Right now there is quite a bit of room at that bottom but, I think it will be ok as my bump grows. There are a few things I do not like, 1. You have to zip it all the wayup to your neck so, most times I feel the zippers under my chin which is quite annoying. 2. The Canada Goose symbol/pocket is only visible when wearing it the opposite way with a baby carrier. I would have loved the same symbol/pocket on both sides. In the end I am glad I was able to get my hands on one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not compatible I bought the panel to go with my Kensington Parka, which a customer service agent assured me it would work. The panel does not fit with the Kensington parka! I found this extremely frustrating. This is a product that all expecting mommas need, and should be compatible with all women’s parkas, not only specific styles. when I bought my parka 3 years ago I was not thinking about whether it would be a style that would later need to be compatible with the bump panel. It would be great if Canada goose could make a panel that’s compatible with all styles.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good extender, wish zippers were better guarded Bought this 1.5 months ago and overall like the utility and functionality. I’m still pregnant so have yet to use it in reverse with the baby front carrier. Gave the product 3 v. 4 stars for 2 reasons: (1) Lack of color options (only sold in black); and (2) Lack of zipper guards. For (2), I do wish the extended had the cloth zipper guards so the zippers wouldn’t whip me in the face or feel cold. Even with a moderately thick scarf the zippers are cold against my face. Given the dual functionality and multiple zippers I’m not sure Canada Goose could fix for this... Overall great purchase that certainly fits my bump generously, I’m 34 weeks and wish I would have purchased earlier!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very useful product! One size up with no issues I've been watching this product for a while. The morning I received the back-in-stock email, i jumped onto the website just to find out that my size is sold out again!! (I think they only have 1 per size when they restock) However!! I found a review saying that one size up will work perfectly as well so I gave it a try and ordered the bigger size. It did not disappoint me. I am 5'7 and 135 lb before pregnant. I have a trillium size S, according to the website size chart, i should get a size E, however size F also works for me so just a reference for the gals looking for this product. I do hope to see that it will come with other colors as well cause my jacket is navy, not black.
