The Expedition: Churchill, Manitoba
The story of Haider Ackermann’s latest Snow Goose by Canada Goose collection unfolds alongside the remote expanse of Churchill, Manitoba.
The Expedition brought together friends of the brand to experience the land that has shaped Canada Goose for generations.
Churchill is a place defined by its raw northern beauty, its polar bear population, and the deep cultural knowledge of the communities who call the region home.
The journey opened with a traditional welcome ceremony led by Indigenous Knowledge Keepers from Cree, Dene, Inuit, and Métis communities, grounding guests in the histories and traditions of the North. From there, the group travelled onto the tundra for days of immersive exploration with Polar Bears International (PBI).
A longtime conservation partner of Canada Goose, PBI is dedicated to protecting polar bears and the Arctic ecosystem they call home.
Guided by PBI scientists, guests observed polar bears across the vast, snow-covered expanse.
The experience continued overnight at the Tundra Buggy Lodge, perched at the edge of Hudson Bay.
Guests went snowshoeing through the Boreal forest and further immersed into the natural world with a polar plunge and sauna experience. Dinner was enjoyed by candlelight under the stars.
