Rated 4 out of 5 by Frisbeebae from Beautiful jacket but PILLS badly I bought this jacket less than a month ago and wore it 2-3/week for non strenuous activities like walking or getting groceries . It is piling on the side especially under the arm pit. Something to keep in mind before purchasing ~$C 700 jacket. Aside from the bad pilling, it is shiny and not matte in pics. Warmth wise it is warm for a thin jacket. I have worn -7c with a wool jacket. It is nice for the range 5c to -5c, I wore cold gear underneath which kept me warm. Jacket keeps the warmth of what you are wearing. I wore a long sleeve thin performance shirt and I was cold even within the recommended ranges. It is better to pair up with fleece/ thermal gear to keep warm.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SaltyButt from Warm, functional, flattering - SOME Pilling though I have tried on 3 different Canada goose jackets and I'm glad I picked this one. I got an XS and I'm 5 Ft1, 112 lbs. LOOKS - definitely glossier looking than the stock photos. It's very flattering and slimming as you can see the seam details narrow as it goes to the waist. I also like the shoulder details where there is a different stretchy fabric diagonal design. There is also the the same stretchy fabric along the sides of the jacket. I am knocking off a star because I am getting some pilling along the sides where I guess my arms swing from walking. I do have a Fabric Shaver and will just use it if the pills bother me. I'm hoping in a future version, they take this into consideration and make it with a fabric that does not pill FUNCTION - This is perfect for 40 degree weather. And I have also layered it under another vest and jacket. I also like that it's easily packable into it's pocket by just tucking it in. I can literally pack it away in a minute and carry it via the strap or tuck it in my backpack

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Im always in the cold! I have had this same jacket in the old style for many years. I also have two vests. All of them have ripped and gotten holes in them and the feathers lose their warmth, but that being said, I still bought another one because they are warm warm when they are new and I will last a long time. The new model is baggy though and as much as I like the big pockets I wish it was less baggy at the bottom. Should I send the old ones back to you so you can see how they rip and get holes so you can use them for your research:)? I am from Alaska and teach figure skating and hockey and am always in the cold!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Stac from Piling on side The guy of the jacket is excellent however I’ve had to return the jacket 3x from extreme piling on the side fabric. I’ve worn it maybe 10 times and the piling makes the jacket look like it is 5 years old. The customer service is spectacular and Canada Goose has always helped with warranty.
