In 2009, inspired by a challenge to explore the true meaning of our tagline “Ask Anyone Who Knows”, Canada Goose met with two Inuit sewers from the Canadian Arctic. From that experience, Canada Goose Resource Centres were born. Working with First Air centres were established across the Arctic, from Kuujjuaq in northern Quebec to Pond Inlet, Nunavut. The Resource Centres give traditional Inuit sewers access to free fabrics, buttons, zippers and other materials to for use in hand-made jackets and clothing for their families and other members of these cold-climate communities. It’s not only a celebration of true Canadian craftsmanship, it’s Canada Goose’s way of honoring and supporting the culture, heritage and people of a community that’s vital to our country.
