Removable down-filled hood is adjustable 2-ways and adds warmth and element protection. Reflective webbing along the back adds visibility in low light. Brim has a shaping wire and a removable fur ruff to stand up to harsh winds. Snaps allow brim to be secured back away from face for added visibility
Interior down-filled collar provides essential warmth and insulation while sealing out cold winds and adding softness next-to-skin. Collar has a fold-up gaiter with snap closure for extra protection when you need it
Chin guard is lined with tricot fabric for added softness and comfort
Heritage inspired webbing grab strap at upper back with Canada Goose emblem patch
Interior backpack straps allow jacket to be carried hands-free over the shoulders

In person, the coat is lovely. It does seem to run a bit large, which doesn't bother me since I tend to layer. What I couldn't get around was the hood. Even with adjustment, it fit awkwardly on me. I have an Elmwood that I bought a year ago and its hood is perfection. My Merrick parka also has a great hood. And even though the Aldridge is rated TEI4, it's not as warm as my Elmwood. These concerns might not be show stoppers for others - it is a beautiful coat. But I'm, sadly, returning.

I too am shocked at the fur ruff not being as luxurious as the ruff on my Mystique parka. I am contemplating if I like the fabric collar. My first impression was that it looked like a trash bag up against my neck. It is very soft as described. However, I am worried about the durability of the fabric. Sometimes I like to wear dangling earrings and I fear that they will catch of the fabric and tear it. I love that this parka has the front buttons as well as the zipper. The Mystique only zips. I have 10 days to decide to keep it. I would love to get some feedback.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Canada123 from I wanted to like it, but... First, this coat is beautiful and has great features but, as another reviewer mentioned, the sizing is way off. I went by the size guide, ordered the large and was swimming in it even though it is supposedly slim fit. I also think the cut is a little odd because it seemed to fit in the shoulders but then flared out from the chest down. I also did not like the material of the neck warmer. It feels like a flimsy plastic covering that would rip easily and is not pleasant against your skin. That being said, customer service was great and return was quick and simple.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hm123 from Super stylish! As other reviewers mentioned, this coat runs a bit big compared to other Canada goose coats...which is exactly why I bought it! I am on the larger size - 5’8 and 225 - so it can be difficult to find a stylish winter coat that fits well. Given that I needed a coat and all stores were closed due to covid, I painstakingly read TONS of reviews for tons of options, and tossed the dice on this one. The XL fits perfectly. Snug-ish on the hips and chest but I’m still able to wear a sweater under without it being too tight. Nice and warm. Love the huge hood, love the underboob fleece pockets, and so many other features. Definitely recommend for the XL ladies!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ggjiggs from amazing step up luxury! I bought this coat in a Large, figuring it was Slim fit, would get same size as my Kensington!! I was drowning in it, but WOW what a coat!! So many cool design features, the down collar and side zippers, all of it amazing! LOVE the black label!! Waiting on the medium and praying it fits me!!! I do have to say though, I have ordered a few coats to try in the past few weeks, and the fur ruff on 2 of the 3 coats was very disappointing for this price !!! I believe that the higher end coats, such as this, deserve the fullest ruff's you have!!! Otherwise always have loved Canada goose, just believe you pay a lot of money, and if you choose to wear fur and buy a coat with it, it should look amazing and full!

Very excited to receive and very disappointed that it was much too heavy. I work on film sets and we do film in winter, outside at night many times. I thought this was finally the solution for a functional and cool looking coat. Perhaps a larger framed person could handle the weight. I am 5’4” 125 lbs. I ordered a small. It was roomy but a tad too tight under the arms even over just a thin sweater. A medium woukd have been too large though: Sadly, I returned it. Still looking for the right coat.
