Every store is designed to reflect Canada Goose’s Arctic heritage. As you explore the Royalmount location, you may notice unique sculptures and paintings. Unique to this location, we've commissioned a very exciting sculpture by Montreal based Artist Renée Condo; a contemporary visual artist of Mi’gmaq ancestry from the community of Gesgapegiag, Quebec, currently working in Tiohtià:ke, also known as Montreal. Her work explores a Mi’gmaq Worldview, foregrounding Mntu (energy or Spirit) and Heart Knowledge. Equally fascinated by wave-particle duality, entanglement, superposition, concepts found within quantum physics, and their relation to a Mi’gmaq order, her large-scale beadwork compositions serve as a visual language reflecting on the parallels between two worldviews, emphasizing interdependence, connectedness, harmony, reciprocity, and renewal.
