We believe that to be human is to be a part of nature.
Each year, we assess the impact of our actions and the progress of our sustainability strategy. Read the FY25 report now.
Our Product
Designing with circularity and traceability at the forefront. Reimagining how our pieces are made, worn, and passed on.
We prioritize Preferred Fibre and Materials (PFMs) recognized by the Textile Exchange as more sustainable and socially progressive than conventional alternatives.

87% of materials
sourced for domestic manufacturing are Preferred Fibre and Materials (PFMS). This includes recycled, organic and certified fibres or materials.

100% of the down we purchase is Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified
requiring animal welfare practices (such as no-live plucking or force feeding) to be in place across the down and feather supply chain.

We’re committed to strengthening traceability across our supply chain and implemented TrusTrace, a platform designed to centralize data & enhance transparency.

All down, fabric, footwear, zipper & Tier 1 suppliers
were fully onboarded to TrusTrace in FY25, with more to follow in FY26.
In FY25, 89% of fabrics were bluesign® APPROVED, bringing us closer to our 90% target.
We follow globally recognized standards to ensure safe, responsible chemical use across our supply chain.
Certifications like bluesign®, OEKO-TEX®, and AFIRM® guide our chemical management practices and help us meet the highest safety benchmarks.
In FY25, 99% of our packaging
was made from sustainable materials, including 74% sourced from FSC-certified wood products.
Packaging is an extension of our product. Through thoughtful design, we prioritize durability, using high-quality materials to safely store products, rather than being discarded.

The Planet
Driving meaningful change through energy efficiency and emissions reduction, we’re advancing innovative solutions that create lasting environmental impact.
We continue to reduce our Greenhouse Gas emissions YoY. Here are some of our FY25 Highlights:

Scope 1: 54% reduction in natural gas consumption driven by HVAC at one of our highest-emitting sites.
Scope 2: Supporting 10 renewable energy projects through REC investments with Carbonzero.
Scope 3: Laid the groundwork setting reduction targets and beginning to develop a focused roadmap to drive action across our value chain.

In FY25, we reached a major milestone: setting and submitting our Science-Based Targets.
These targets address all scopes and reflect how we drive measurable climate action across our entire value chain. In April 2025, our targets were approved by SBTi. Read more in the FY25 Impact Report.
People
We’re committed to empowering those around us: fostering inclusion, growth, and belonging within our teams and extending meaningful support to communities worldwide.
Throughout the year, we celebrate important moments with meaningful events and learning opportunities for our employees. In FY25, 60% of vendors at our Toronto HQ Inclusion & Belonging events were either queer, BIPOC, and/or woman-owned.
We support our employees in giving their time, not just their dollars. Salaried team members receive three paid volunteer days each year to contribute to a nonprofit of their choice. For hourly employees, Canada Goose donates $20 CAD per hour of personal volunteer time to the registered charity they support.
We believe in creating lasting impact through community-driven initiatives.
