Local Expedition: Midsummer in Tuscany, Italy

Connecting with nature to usher in a new rhythm of renewal, observation and intention.

To mark the summer solstice, we welcomed a group of explorers to Tuscany, Italy, for a two-day expedition.

The natural world set the agenda—not notifications

Upon arrival, the ritual of Acqua di San Giovanni begins with gathering wildflowers and aromatic herbs. Placed in water and set under the stars to steep overnight, the infused water becomes a symbolic act of renewal, protection and gratitude.

This centuries-old Italian midsummer tradition has kept generation after generation in tune with the rhythms of the sun, the sky and the land.

Natural Intelligence is a new way of noticing.

It’s knowledge gained through direct, devoted contact with nature.
